Sample request questions

Are samples free?

Stock catalogue samples are free — you cover the shipping, and it is credited against your first bulk order. Custom samples (new colour, new print, new structure) take longer and may carry a sample charge, because the line has to be set up for your order.

How long do samples take?

7 days for a stock model. A custom sample needs the line changed or a mould built, so it takes longer — we will give you the specific number with the quote rather than a generic one.

How many samples can I request?

One or two units of a small number of models is the usual pattern. If you are comparing five models across two lines, tell us the decision you are trying to make and we will send the ones that actually answer it.

Can you brand the sample?

Yes — logo printing on the product or on the packaging. A branded sample is a custom sample, so it takes longer than a stock unit.

What should I check when the sample arrives?

Four things: the adjustment points and hinge play, the wall thickness at the load-bearing joints, the finish on the printing, and the packaging as the customer will receive it. Those four predict the review score better than anything on a spec sheet.
